We’ve reached the end of an incredibly creative year — in so many areas of our lives — with its own challenges, achievements, and one shared thread: growth.
I want to leave a message of gratitude to everyone who, whether visibly or quietly, has visited and supported my work here.
Thank you for being present, for your interest, your curiosity, and your wish to have a piece of my work now or someday.
This Christmas I chose to live it with two differences. One was not a choice — spending it without my mother — and the other one was: spending it without the stress of sales and Christmas shopping.
For this reason, any artwork sold during this period will only be shipped from the second week of January onward.

“My painting is part of a broader practice that includes working with paper, fabric, journaling, drawing, photography, music, and psychology. Taking photos with my iPhone is a daily practice, fulfilling my need to continuously explore how to live, and uncover what is important to me. My geometric paintings reflect my need for order, shape, space, symmetry, light, stillness, and most importantly, they express my love for color.”

Esta exposição reúne obras de Graça Paz e Bruno Grilo e acontece no contexto do fim-de-semana Modernista.
O trabalho dos dois artistas dialoga a partir de um ponto comum - a luz. Em particular a luz do sol como referência transversal e metafórica. As paletas intensas das suas obras e a sua estrutura formal dialogam com a estética modernista.
O vidro, elemento concreto, que convoca a fragilidade e a refração, recorda-nos a famosa casa de Philip Johnson, de onde o habitante pode ver tudo ao seu redor, fazendo do exterior interior também. Este elemento aqui serve de filtro, evocando o olhar dos artistas. Nas suas obras, esse olhar, carregado de vontades e interrogações, faz dispersar o mundo em formas e cores.
Se o modernismo traduzia a vida moderna em novas linguagens, é nesse legado que Graça Paz e Bruno Grilo encontram ressonância. As suas obras não apenas ecoam a ousadia modernista, como a atualizam.
